Fantastic Namibia 10 Days Namibia

Your Safari starts with a short orientation tour through Windhoek and leads you to the Namib Desert. Visit Sossusvlei with some of the highest dunes in the world within in the Namib Naukluft Park and let yourself be inspired by one of the oldest desert in the world. The tour continues via the Ghaub & Kuiseb Pass to the beautiful coastal town of Swakopmund. Besides the colonial influence, Swakopmund offers a wide range of activities and is commonly referred to as the "playground of Namibia". Driving through the scenic Erongo Mountains your journey leads you to the Etosha National Park, where exciting game viewing expeditions await you. From here the journey will lead you to Okonjima, home to the AfriCat Foundation. This organization will bring you closer to the big cats of Namibia before returning back to Windhoek.

Namibia Highlights 14 Days

Past the Brandberg the journey leads you to the rugged but yet beautiful Damaraland to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Twyfelfontein. Here you also have the opportunity to track the Desert Elephants. Visit the Waterberg with its many hiking possibilities; track the Rhino, one of the most endangered species; and visit the Cheetah Conservation Fund close Waterberg. The tour ends in Windhoek.

Namibia - The full package 21 Days Namibia

The tour starts in the capital of Namibia - Windhoek. Heading south, visit the red dunes of the Kalahari before continuing to the second largest canyon in the World. The area around the Fish River Canyon is very original, characterized by high mountains, dramatic landscape giving the absolute tranquility. The journey continues to Luderitz, a sleepy little town, which is often exposed to the stormy Atlantic winds. Visit Kolmanskop, a former diamond settlement, and today – a ghost town, which has many stories to tell from the German colonial times. Next up is the Namib Naukluft Park with the famous Sossusvlei dunes. Let one of the oldest desert with some of the highest dunes in the world enchant you. Your journey continues over the Ghaub and Kuiseb Pass to the beautiful coastal town of Swakopmund. Swakopmund is known for its myriad of activities and considered to be the "playground of Namibia" The journey heads north, passing the Brandberg, to the UNESCO world heritage site, Twyfelfontein. Depending on the time of year, you will have the opportunity track the rare desert elephants in Damaraland. Further north of Damaraland, lies the desert Kaokoland (Kaokoveld), which is one of the most pristine regions in Namibia. Kaokoland is not only home to the Himba tribe, a semi-nomadic tribe, but also to the desert elephants, desert lions and rhinos. This fascinating area is a highlight for all nature lovers! Continue to the Etosha National Park for some exciting wildlife viewing before heading to the Waterberg Plateau Park. The Waterberg Plateau is home to some endangered species such as the black rhino. The journey ends in Windhoek.

Wild Kaokoveld 9 Days Guided Campingtour

Kaokoland at its best! This tour offers adventure and pure wilderness!I Meet our tour guide (the best) at Palmwag and continue together into the undeveloped and partially inaccessible region of Kaokoveld. The lonely Kaokoveld in the north-west is one of the most pristine regions in Namibia. Away from the few main links you will experience stunning & breathtaking landscapes and with a little luck, see the unique desert elephants, desert lions and black rhinos. The Kaokoveld is also home to the Himba, a semi-nomadic tribe, which still maintains their ethnic character in the seclusion of the Kaokoveld. After an exciting day on safari you camp in deserted and dry river beds in pure wilderness. In the evening sit by an open cracking campfire and star-studded skies and listen to the sounds of the animals – it is latest then, when you come to realize, the luxury of Africa really lies in the simplicity of things.

Route:

Start: Palmwag or at Khowarib

Day 01: Drive into the Hoanib Valley in search of the Desert Elephants, Lions and other animals. Wild camping in the Hoanib Valley.
Day 02: Drive north via Okongwe through the Hoarusib valley to Purrus. Breathtaking Landscapes and Safaris (Mountain Zebras, Elephants & Rhino's etc.). Camping at the Purrus Campsite with Shower & toilet.
Day 03: Further into the Hoarusib Valley to the north to the Khumib dry riverbed. Along the Khumib until Orumpenbe and further northwest close to the Skeleton Coast Park. Wild Camping (somewhere in the middle of nowhere).
Day 04: Continue parallel to the Skeleton Coast park, through lonely landscape all the way into the Hartmanvalley. Wild Camping in the Hartmannsvalley.
Day 05: Explore the Hartmannvalley with short walks and stunnnig viewpoints. After a well deserved siesta, get spoiled with a scenic sundowner drive. Wild Camping in the Hartmannsvalley.
Day 06: Via the famous red Drum, the drive continues trough the Marienfluss to the Kunene. The afternoon can be spent with some relaxation along the Kunene River. Camping at Camp Syncro with Shower & Toilet.
Day 07: Drive back via the red drum to the Marbel Camp just before the Onjuva area. Enroute possible Himba encounter ...Camping at the Marbel Campsite with Toilet & shower.
Day 08: Drive eastern direction via Otjihaa with many himba tribes in the area of Etanga. Wild Camping (somewhere in the middle of nowhere).
Day 09: Drive to Opuwo for the last night together in a lodge or at a campsite. END OF TOUR

Namibia & Botswana & Vic Falls 21 Days Three Country Tour

Your Safari starts with a short orientation tour through Windhoek and leads you to the Namib Desert. Visit Sossusvlei with some of the highest dunes in the world within in the Namib Naukluft Park and let yourself be inspired by one of the oldest desert in the world. The tour continues via the Ghaub & Kuiseb Pass to the beautiful coastal town of Swakopmund. Besides the colonial influence, Swakopmund offers a wide range of activities and is commonly referred to as the "playground of Namibia". The journey continues directly to the unique Etosha National Park, where you will enjoy exciting wildlife viewing. Continue north to the a large number of animals, including four of the known "Big Five" - lion, leopard, elephant and buffalo. Along the rivers crocodiles and hippos and many water birds can be observed on exciting boat trips. The journey will take you across the border to Botswana into the Chobe National Park, famous for the largest elephant population in Africa and is considered one of the best game viewing areas in Africa. You cross a border again, this time to Zimbabwe to pay the majestic Vic Falls a visit. The Vic Falls are the widest cascading waterfalls on earth and particularly impressive by the end of the rainy season (February and March). From Zimbabwe cross the border back to Botswana and head to the Makgadikgadi Pans, an area that resembles a lunar landscape, and to the largest inland delta in the world - the Okavango Delta. The Okavango Delta being the top destination in Botswana and is most definitely worth carrying the title of "the largest natural paradise in the world" which offers spectacular wildlife viewing. Almost all of the accommodations in the Okavango Delta are in high price segment and are often only accessible by plane. For those on a budget, there are ways to explore the Delta from Maun. Hardly nothing beats a visit to the Okavango Delta. This exciting three-country trip ends in Windhoek
