Bushmanland is the name for the region near the village of Tsumkwe, that once was assigned to the San (Bushmen) as their home country for hunting and gathering. Today, this region is still one of the least explored regions of the country. Part of the Bushmanland is the 4000 square kilometer Khaudom National Park, which is not easily accessible to tourists. The park offers extensive dry forests on predominantly sandy soil and in addition to big game, you will find predators, many antelope species and a countless variety of birds.
