step by step guide to your tour

Listed below is an overview on the steps involved from the day you give us the go ahead for your booking until the start of your trip and the conditions that apply accordingly

  • The booking enquiries will be sent to the accommodation and service providers. Within a few days you will receive a reservation overview. Should one or the other accommodation be fully booked, we will propose similar alternative options with your pre-approval until your tour is complete.

  • Each service provider has different cancellation policies. As long as we move beyond the respective cancellation deadlines, request for changes and cancellations, can be done at no extra costs. Cancellations will only be effective upon written acknowledgement from namibia CLICK & TRAVEL. The following cancellation fees (as a percentage of the fully quoted price) are applicable for cancelled tours:

    60 – 45 days 25%
    44 – 30 days50%
    Less than 30 days 100%

  • The Invoice for your tour must be paid 70 days prior to your arrival. We will send you the respective invoice in time for payment. As soon as the funds reflect on our account we will send you the proof of payment from our bank. For certain accommodations, such as NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resort), Botswana bookings and/or group bookings, we reserve the right to request a non-refundable deposit.

Die Buchungsanfragen an die Unterkünfte und Serviceanbieter werden nun von uns verschickt. Innerhalb der nächsten Tage erhalten Sie eine Buchungsübersicht. Sollte die ein oder andere Unterkunft ausgebucht sein, werden wir in Absprache mit Ihnen Alternativen suchen bis Ihre Reise komplett ist.

Jeder Serviceanbieter hat unterschiedliche Stornierungsbedingungen. Solange wir uns außerhalb der jeweiligen Stornierungsfristen bewegen, lassen sich Änderungswünsche und Stornierungen kostenlos durchführen. Stornierungen treten erst nach schriftlicher Bestätigung seitens namibia CLICK & TRAVEL in Kraft. Die folgenden Stornierungsbedingungen (als Prozentsatz des Reisegesamtpreises) gelten für stornierte Reisen:
60 – 45 Tage 25%
44 – 30 Tage 50%
Weniger als 30 Tage 100%

Die Rechung Ihrer Reise muss bis 70 Tage vor Anreise beglichen werden. Wir senden Ihnen die Rechnung entsprechend zeitig zu. Sobald der Rechnungsbetrag auf unserem Konto eingegangen ist, bestätigen wir Ihnen den Zahlungseingang. Bei Buchungen von bestimmten Leistungen (z.B. staatliche Unterkünfte oder Services in Botswana), Gruppenbuchungen und Spezialreisen behalten wir uns das Recht vor, eine Anzahlung einzufordern.

Payment

1.) Foreign bank transfer: The invoice must be paid in the currency it is stated in. As the Namibian Dollar (NAD) is NOT a trading currency, please inform your bank to use the South African Rand (ZAR) currency. The Namibian Dollar is linked to the South African Rand (1:1) and both currencies are therefore accepted to the same value in Namibia as payment

Any related bank charges and currency conversions are for your own account.
If there were any bookings of services done where the prices are given in USD or EURO, we shall convert the amount to NAD at the date of invoice. As a Namibian Operator, we can only send out invoices in NAD, by law.

2.) Pay4Free (Exchange4Free) You can make your payment online, using our secure system Pay4Free (Exchange4Free). Pay4Free is a global payment portal that allows you to pay in your own local currency to a local bank account in your country. This eliminates expensive international transfer costs and bank fees. In addition to an online transfer (E.F.T), Pay4Free also offers the possibility to pay by credit or debit card. VERY IMPORTANT: Payment with credit or debit card may only be processed with prior arrangements with namibia CLICK & TRAVEL, as these transactions come with an additional bank fee of 2.5% of the total amount processed, which will be for your own account.

Shortly before your departure to Namibia, we will send you your travel documents via email, these include an itinerary as well as vouchers for all pre-booked services with us. Upon arrival in Namibia you will receive the original documents including general information and a Map of Namibia
