a born and bred Namibian. After her IT Studies in South Africa, she returned back to her home town Swakopmund, where she started working in the Tourism Industry. With now over 15 years of professional experience in organising tours and incentives, she is a veteran in Namibia’s tourism industry. Her numerous travels throughout Southern Africa have made her a travel expert in this field. Together with her husband René and their two children, Noah and Danielle, Birgit enjoys her life in Swakopmund and exploring Southern Africa to the fullest.
(“Desi”) joined the namibia CLICK & TRAVEL family at the end of 2015. Desi keeps us on our toes with her snappy remarks from her very own " boss's corner " and makes the best coffee in the office, without which no constructive action is possible at namibia CLICK & TRAVEL in the mornings. Her big passion are her furry family. Desi's favorite leisure place is on the back of her – equally snappy and quick-witted – horse, Rico. Her canine soul-mate Kinau does not leave her side – ever, even when horse-riding – and also feels very much at home at our offices. With huge enthusiasm and adventure spirit Desi now takes advantage of the opportunity to explore her homeland from the tourism point of view. We are very glad of the active support from our namibian youngster.
(Romi) has been part of the namibia CLICK &TRAVEL team since November 2018. Born in Poland, Romi spent her childhood in Cologne, followed by some years in hospitality studies in Sylt. Returning to Cologne, Romi gathered a few year's valuable experience in sales and marketing as well as event management. During a short trip to Namibia in 2015 she was bitten by the Namibia-bugn. There was no two ways about it – she had to return to Namibia! Her completed studies for event management were thus followed by a 6-month sabbatical, during which time she not only lost her heart to Namibia, but also to her husband Wotan, whom she married in August 2018. Romi has since then lived in Swakopmund with Wotan, his son Dylan and their three dogs, bakes the best cheese cake in Namibia and, with her sunny character, will never say no to a quick glass of champagne, which is the standard drink at namibia CLICK & TRAVEL. Her leisure time is spent close to nature during camping trips, walks on the beach or sundowners in Swakopmund's moon landscape.
officially started joining the team since 2018, but has kept close ties with the namibia CLICK & TRAVEL family for much longer through her daughter Désirée (Desi). Margret is entrusted with compiling our travel documents. Without her and her route description many guest to Namibia might just find himself lost in the middle of nowhere. When she's not traveling with her finger on the map, she and her husband Robert travel the country on their motorbikes, discovering the best short cuts and routes for our guests. Margret, too, is heart and soul Namibian and keeps a weekly supply of home-baked bread to the office going. Her free time she spends with her cats and a good book on the sofa.
